Robert J. Batting, Q.C., obtained his law degree from the University of Calgary. After completing his studies, Robert took a position as a Crown Prosecutor with Alberta Justice. As a prosecutor his caseload included everything from impaired driving offences to homicides. He soon transitioned to a successful criminal defence practice. Opening his own firm in the 1990’s, Mr. Batting has appeared in all levels of court in Alberta, as well as the Supreme Court of Canada.
James Wyman. Upon completing his undergraduate studies, James accepted a scholarship to attend Gonzaga University’s School of Law in Spokane, Washington. There he graduated at the top of his class, magna cum laude.
After being called to the bar in Washington State, Mr. Wyman returned to the Province of Alberta where he initiated an exclusively criminal based practice. In his years at the bar, Mr. Wyman has represented individuals charged with all forms of criminal offences ranging from shoplifting to murder. After a long and successful partnership with Robert, James has assumed conduct of the practice.
